Sarah Kendzior will discuss “Information, Data, and Power in the Era of Alternative Facts”
On October 25th, at 6:30pm in Taylor Hall 203 at Vassar College, Frequent MSNBC contributor Sarah Kendzior will discuss how information and “alternative facts" shape the current political landscape and threaten democracy in the United States.
Kendzior is a journalist and expert on authoritarianism based in St. Louis, Missouri. She is the author of The View From Flyover Country, a collection of essays examining political corruption in the aftermath of the Great Recession, racism, and economic inequality. She is a lecturer, op-ed contributor to The Globe and Mail, and a frequent guest on MSNBC’s AM Joy.
