Adriance Memorial Library to host “Hello, Dear Enemy!” exhibit from March 31 to April 8, 2018
The exhibit presents a selection of picture books and graphic novels on the topics of conflict, displacement, peace, and humanity. Vassar students will be acting as docents and helping attendees appreciate this unique collection. The exhibit is on loan from the International Youth Library in Munich, Germany.
Poughkeepsie Public Library District partners with the City of Poughkeepsie and Vassar College to host an exciting after hours celebration of ‘Books and Brews’. This is a fitting theme for the kick-off for National Library Week and the 2nd Anniversary of Mayor Rolison's First Friday initiative. The library will stay open late, welcoming the public to explore some of the best that Poughkeepsie has to offer.
This event is sponsored by the Adriance Memorial Library, and Vassar’s Creative Arts Across Disciplines (CAAD).
