American Comedian, Jesse Appell to present “The Great LOL of China” on February 19, 2018
The evening will be part standup, part comedy lecture, and all about what’s currently funny in China. It incorporates Jesse’s five years of writing and performing comedy in China, first as a Fulbright scholar researching the traditional art of Xiangsheng “Cross-talk” Comedy, and later as a web celebrity and TV comedian in the middle kingdom. The show has tips for learning Chinese, living abroad, music videos about life in Beijing, and stories about learning how people can come together through laughter.
