CRIMES OF THE HEART by Beth Henley to be performed November 30 through December 2, 2017

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – CRIMES OF THE HEART, a play by Beth Henley, will be performed on Thursday, November 30, Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2, 8:00 pm at the Martel Theater.  This event is free and open to the public. There will be assigned seating and reservations are required.

CRIMES OF THE HEART, Beth Henley’s award-winning tragic comedy, follows three sisters as they weather crisis after crisis in Hazlehurst, Mississippi. After the youngest sister shoots her husband, the sisters gather at their grandfather’s house for support. Their reunion reignites past drama, and reveals secrets the sisters must each come to terms with. The drama production, a senior project in Drama, will be directed by Professor and Chair of Drama department, Shona Tucker.
