The Arlington Farmers' Market moves indoors for the fall and winter beginning November 6, 2014

The Arlington Farmers' Market moves indoors for its third winter season at Vassar College's North Atrium of the College Center, located in historic Main Building. Beginning November 6 the market will run every Thursday from 10am to 4pm. (Please note that the market will be on hiatus when the College is officially closed, including Thanksgiving, and December 12 - January 28.)

"Farmers’ markets are the ground level for the local economy. When we support our farmers and producers we support the vitality of the Hudson Valley—not to mention the deliciousness that comes with it!” said Alistair Hall, sustainability coordinator at Vassar College. “We hope the community will continue to attend the market each week during these colder months and enjoy all that our vendors have to offer."

The market vendors will include: Meredith's Bread, Earth to Table, Wilklow Orchards, Dashing Star Farm, The Canning Jar, Champagne Tea, Running Creak Farm, Mind, Body, Bath, Brittany Natural Food Company, M&M Italian Provisions, and Winter Sun Farms.

Vassar welcomes everyone from the community to check out the indoor market and support their same favorite vendors from the Arlington Market. For more information, or if you are interested in becoming a vendor, contact Alistair Hall: The indoor market is a collaborative project with Vassar's College Committee on Sustainability and the Arlington Business Improvement District
