Vassar museum to be temporarily closed for campus electrical shutdown. Saturday, May 31, 2008

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — On Saturday, May 31, the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center will be closed during its normal visiting hours, due to a planned campuswide electrical shutdown. Central Hudson required the shutdown, so that it can lay new underground electrical cables on Collegeview Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie. The Art Center plans to resume its normal visiting hours the following day, Sunday, June 1, 1:00-5:00pm.

Admission to the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is free. The Art Center is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. For more information, call (845) 437-5632 or visit http://fllac.vassar.edu.
