Join EDUC 301 for a discussion with alumni Leonel Torres-Magana '15 and Cecil Carey '17 about the role of teachers in broader educational and racial justice movements beyond their classrooms. We will discuss how teachers have been advocating and mobilizing for policies that call for critical ethnic studies in schools, restorative justice and removing police from schools, school integration, and safe school openings, to name a few.
