Winterim Wonderland: Interviewing Virtually (Workshop Series)

In-person events are suspended until further notice. The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is now also closed. If you are a member of the Vassar Community, check out the Department of Athletics & Physical Education’s new virtual health & fitness program. Meanwhile, we urge everyone to comply with Gov. Cuomo’s executive order by maintaining a six-foot distance from others in public and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

In this workshop, we'll discuss video/virtual, one-way/pre-recorded, and phone interviews so that you feel prepared to know how to handle each of these scenarios. Also, when going to an interview, it’s important to know what questions to expect and strategies for answering them well. You also need to be armed with questions to ask your interviewers but don't simply rely on the expected questions. You need to impress your interviewers with interesting questions that will set you apart. Come learn about the 5 most difficult (and common) interview questions asked by employers and 5 impressive questions to have ready to ask your interviewers.
