Tournées French Film Festival: Identities

"Faces, Places, a film by Agnès Varda and JR

Tournées is a series of customizable French and Francophone film festivals that helps bring humanities scholarship to college campuses and local communities by providing a forum to discuss social and cultural issues through film. Funded, in part, by the French-American Cultural Exchange (FACE Foundation) of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy of New York, the Tournées festival at Vassar College will feature 6 films. These critically renowned French-language films will be screened throughout the month of February 2020.
All screenings are free and open to all members of the Vassar College community and the Hudson Valley community as well as neighboring colleges and public schools. A brief introduction by a faculty member at Vassar or a nearby college or university will precede each film, facilitated discussion follows.
