The Forum On Black Popular Culture: The Life of "Queen & Slim"
Melina Matsoukas, the director of Queen and Slim has called the film, "a black story." We have assembled a panel of our faculty to explore, among a host of matters--race and representation, fugitivity and precarity, rhythm and blues, sex and death--the ways in which it is or is not.
