Winter Fest

In-person events are suspended until further notice. The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is now also closed. If you are a member of the Vassar Community, check out the Department of Athletics & Physical Education’s new virtual health & fitness program. Meanwhile, we urge everyone to comply with Gov. Cuomo’s executive order by maintaining a six-foot distance from others in public and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

5:00 pm

Ely Hall AULA

Inspired by German and Austrian winter markets, Winterfest features a holiday crafts fair with a dozen vendors from the Vassar community (students, faculty, administrators), along with a freshly home-cooked German meal (with vegetarian options, and including hot apple cider and mulled wine for guests 21 and over), and tables where visitors can play a selection of award-winning German board games.

Admission is free; meal tickets cost $5 when pre-purchased (with cash or V-Cash) during lunch hours in the College Center on December 2, 4, and 5, and can also be purchased (with cash only) for $6 at the door.

Winterfest will take place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Aula (Ely Hall).
