Goodstein lecture

In-person events are suspended until further notice. The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is now also closed. If you are a member of the Vassar Community, check out the Department of Athletics & Physical Education’s new virtual health & fitness program. Meanwhile, we urge everyone to comply with Gov. Cuomo’s executive order by maintaining a six-foot distance from others in public and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

Eban Goodstein, Bard Center for Environmental Policy will be leading a conversation: How to Solve the Climate Crises by 2030
Vassar is gearing up for climate action through SEED, Greens, Sustainability, and other groups on campus. As we prepare to update our Climate Action Plan and rethink our energy systems (and investments) what can we learn from what other institutions have done? Eban Goodstein, Director of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy will join us for a discussion of what he has seen, what has worked, and what we can do.
Snacks will be provided.

Sponsored by HHMI Grand Challenges and Environmental Policy.
