Thematizing the “Arche-Screen” through Its Variations - Mauro Carbone

Electronic and digital screens are the main interfaces through which we meet the world. This does not simply mean that our use of screens has increased. In fact, our relationship towards them has changed our ways to perceive, to desire and to imagine, to think and to know, transposing them within our present experiences of screens.
Such a changing in progress deserves a reflection which becomes increasingly urgent due to the social issues it raises.
