Dr. Guerda Nicolas is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Educational and Psychological Studies at the University of Miami School of Education and Human Development. Her work focuses on developing culturally effective mental health interventions for people of color, with a specific focus on immigrant children, adolescents, and families. She will be giving talk entitled: Culturally First: Working With Ethnically Diverse and Immigrant Populations.
