Looking Ahead to Law School

In-person events are suspended until further notice. The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is now also closed. If you are a member of the Vassar Community, check out the Department of Athletics & Physical Education’s new virtual health & fitness program. Meanwhile, we urge everyone to comply with Gov. Cuomo’s executive order by maintaining a six-foot distance from others in public and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

Vassar alumnae/i go on to attend law school either immediately after graduation or after working for a few years. Attend this workshop if you want to attend law school at some point in the future or happen to be curious about if law school is for you. We will introduce you to the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and discuss how to research law schools, understand their rankings, and give you resources for comparing different law schools. We will provide an overview of the application process and discuss how to use your summer to ensure that if you are applying to law school in Fall 2019 that you use your summer wisely so that you return to campus prepared for the application cycle to begin. No law school workshop would be complete without a discussion of the LSAT, which we will cover as well, and the growing trend of some law schools accepting the GRE. There will be time to have your questions answered as well.
