Artist Joanne Greenbaum lives and works in New York City. Over the past twenty years she has participated in numerous shows in the U.S. and
Europe. Greenbaum’s latest solo exhibitions include Texas Gallery, Houston and Things We Said Today, which debuted at The Tufts University Art Galleries at SMFA, later traveling to Ben Maltz Gallery of the Otis College of Art and Design. Other recent solo shows include 56 Henry, New York, Rachel Uffner Gallery, New York, Van Horn Gallery, Dusseldorf and Richard Telles, Los Angeles. Greenbaum has also exhibited at Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Overland Park, Texas Gallery, Houston, The Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas, PS1 MoMA, New York, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Kunsthalle, Basel, Whitechapel Gallery, London.
A career-spanning survey of her work was mounted by Haus Konstruktiv, Zurich and travelled to Museum Abteiberg, Monchengladbach, Germany in 2008/2009. Greenbaum is included in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and earned a BA from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.
