In-person events are suspended until further notice. The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is now also closed. If you are a member of the Vassar Community, check out the Department of Athletics & Physical Education’s new virtual health & fitness program. Meanwhile, we urge everyone to comply with Gov. Cuomo’s executive order by maintaining a six-foot distance from others in public and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

Come for the sale of 350 original Haitian paintings and hundreds of original handicrafts, including hand-painted silk scarves, iron sculptures, and papier-mâché goods. The Vassar Haiti Project (http://www.thehaitiproject.org) engages students in a life-changing experiential education in global citizenship, fosters sustainable development in Haiti, and promotes Haitian art. (Handicrafts start at $5 and paintings at $50. All purchases are 50% tax deductible.)
