Museum of the Word and the Image (MUPI): Spaces of Identity and Memory in Post-War El Salvador

"Carlos Henríquez Consalvi, best known as Santiago, is a journalist, writer, the founder of Radio Venceremos, a widely broadcast Salvadoran guerrilla radio station (1980-1991), and Director of the Museum of the Word and the Image. Santiago will deliver a lecture in Spanish, with translation by María del Mar Ferrey ’19. A MUPI temporary exhibit on migration, “Cartas del Norte,” will be on view the week of the 23rd in the College Center.
