Bob Holmes will discuss his book "Flavor: The Science of our Most Neglected Sense". Covering research from neurobiology, mathematics, chemistry, and food science, "Flavor" reveals the broad range of factors that affect our experience of food and drink.

Holmes is a science writer and author of more than 800 articles about evolution, ecology, environment, genetics, biomedicine, anthropology, and other topics.
