Thomas Wild (Research Director at the Hannah Arendt Center at Bard College), Politics and Poetics: On Hannah Arendt's Languages

How can we respond to political ruptures? What is at stake in times of transition as conventions of the ways we live with one another are fundamentally being called into question? What role do language(s) and imagination play in this context? The talk aspires to invite a conversation about these questions based on readings of Hannah Arendt’s writings after 1945.
