Join the Costume Collection for the opening of its new wedding exhibition on Thursday, May 23, from 4:00-6:00pm in the Palmer Gallery, Main Building. In 2007, Vassar received a donation of four wedding dresses from the same Vassar family—three generations of dresses. The upcoming exhibition includes these four dresses, as well as other wedding wear collected over the years. Explore the changing views of marriage over the last 160 years, including current views on marriage equality. The exhibition is on display every Thursday through Friday, May 23 – June 9, and on several Sundays. For specific dates and times, or to make an appointment to view the collection, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
