  • A lecture on how the rehabilitation of China's Loess plateau suggests that it is possible to regain vital lost ecosystem functions, and represents a paradigm shift in our understanding of the Earth and human behavior. John Liu is the director of the Environmental Education Media Project (EEMP), which uses television to deliver ecological, sustainable development and public health messages in China and other countries.
