Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre (VRDT) is a dance company in residence at Vassar College. VRDT's three fold mission is to have students of dance participate in the choreographic/creative process, to perform works of faculty artists, to create and perform works of their own, and to learn and perform works from the classical ballet and modern repertoire. "Stones in His Pockets" is a bittersweet look at the experiences of two extras on a Hollywood movie filming in rural Ireland. Two actors, played by Sarah Wadlinger '11 and Evan Kaplan '10, portray all 15 of the play's characters, from a glamourous movie star to a troubled local teen.

With performances by No Offense Sketch Comedy and Margie KmentFinals are fast approaching--you deserve to take a load off and laugh...a lot. Come see Vassar's oldest and always hilarious sketch comedy group perform, followed by comedian Margie Clement. Headlining the event is comedian Dan Mintz of Comedy Central. Mintz is known for his non sequitur one-liners and deadpan delivery. He is a writer for "Crank Yankers", "The Andy Milonakis Show", "Human Giant", and "Lucky Louie".   • Hunger Fast Main Building, Rose Parlor, 10:00 am
  • The 5th Annual Hunger Fast will be held in solidarity with the fasts coordinated by the Hunger Action Network of New York State. The fast is intended to raise awareness about hunger issues and to give participants a space to think about their relationships to food. Activities throughout the day will begin in the Rose Parlor at 10am, and are open to all regardless of whether or not you fast.
