VIEW (Vassar Inspiration and Education Weekend) is a "Vassar-style" homecoming event sponsored by AAVC, and the Offices of Development and Admission. Beginning Friday afternoon, alumnae/i class, club, admission, affiliate and reunion volunteers will come to campus and participate in information exchange sessions designed to inspire and inform them in their work as alumnae/i volunteers and ambassadors. On Saturday, all alumnae/i are welcomed back for classes, special tours, athletic events, and student performances.

The AAVC Board of Directors will hold their 2008 fall meeting September 19 -21. The mission of the association is "to lead the more than 36,000 Vassar alumnae/i in connecting with each other and with our college." In support of that mission, the board convenes three times a year to discuss and report out on committee work, task force work, and to continually review and adjust the work of the board. The directors of the AAVC board are willing to meet with students during their weekend meetings at Vassar, and any student wishing to meet with a Director may contact AAVC Executive Assistant, Brooke Ruskaup, at brruskaup@vassar.edu.
