World-famous journalist, intellectual and activist, Tariq Ali, co-editor of the New Left Review, will be giving a talk titled "The Deadly Triangle: US/Pakistan/Afghanistan." Tariq Ali is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio and contributes to such publications as The Guardian and the London Review of Books. Sponsored by the Vassar Green Party.

Paper Lantern Meditation Walk. Sponsored by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life. RSL invites you to come out and walk among the glowing luminaria. While you are walking, you can choose to contemplate a certain issue that is bothering you or even just let your mind wander and enjoy taking the time to think.
