"Brotherhood of the Wolf" (Le pacte des loups, 2001). This is the highest-grossing French movie ever. It's loosely based on a real-life series of killings in the mid 1760s when a mysterious beast terrorized the province of Gevaudan and nearby lands. In French, with English subtitles. Pre-film conversation with refreshments 7:00pm in the French Lounge. Screening in the Chicago Hall FLRC (Foreign Language Resource Center Screening Room). 8:00pm.
