The Pathless Path: Dance Performance by Manhong Kang. Wednesday, April 16th at 5:00pm to 6pm. Kenyon Hall Studio IIManhong Kang is an internationally-acclaimed artist, performer, and meditation teacher who has been studying/teaching/performing for over 25 years in Korea, India, Japan, Indonesia, Germany, and the United States. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Goddard College in Vermont. He is trained in Korean traditional, ritual, and mask dances and studied and performed Indian Chhau dance with Guru K. D. Naik for three years in India. His performance work has been supported by grants from the Asian Cultural Council and the Rockefeller Foundation. He has taught Movement Meditation, Asian Dance and Drama, and Ki Energy Dance as a guest faculty member at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.This event is sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty office and the Asian Studies Program.
