Dr. Meltzer will give a lecture on Gender Reassignment on Friday, April 11th at 6pm. The surgeon will speak about his background and the history of gender reassignment surgery. The current surgical techniques for GRS surgery for both male to female and female to male patients. His lecture will also include the International Standards of Care which sets forth the requirements for transitioning patients and who is an appropriate candidate for surgery. Also, who is a transsexual? Dessert reception to follow the lecture at the Blegen House.
