"Our Space: Negotiating Artistic Territory in St. Petersburg." A presentation by two of St. Petersburg's most prominent contemporary artists: Ivan Govorkov, professor, Russian Academy of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg), and Elena Gubanova, recipient of international awards. Govorkov and Gubanova, who are a married couple, will speak of their work and of the challenges of St. Petersburg's dynamic art scene.
