Life as an editor, writer, and online columnist for "The Washington Post Book World," Michael Dirda is Pulitzer Prize-winning critic for "The Washington Post Book World" and the author of the memoir "An Open Book" and four collections of essays, "Readings," "Bound to Please," "Book by Book." and "Classics for Pleasure." He also answers questions and discusses books each Wednesday at 2pm for washingtonpost.com. Co-sponsored by Vassar Libraries, the Dean of Faculty Office, Media Studies, American Culture, and the English Department.
