By marking this date we are not only celebrating a Vassar education but also the generosity of those who make it possible. More than 125 works of art by high school students from The Art Institute of Mill Street Loft will be highlighted in the sixth annual "Teen Visions '08" exhibition. The juried show will include paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture from more than 50 art students who participated in the Art Institute's Summer Intensive and Fall 2007 courses.The students' work will be on display through Saturday, February 9. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Benefit dinner to raise money and awareness for the Vassar College Uganda Project, a group of VC students and EMTs traveling to Uganda over Spring Break. The purpose of the trip is to provide medical aid and supplies to the children of a recently constructed orphanage in Kaberamaido, Uganda. A short video and Q&A session will follow.
