Feeling stressed out by end of semester assignments and exams? Join us for an introductory workshop on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction ? a holistic empirically validated method for managing stress and restoring a sense of balance to one?s life. The workshop will include a short introductory explanation, followed by a practice period allowing students to personally experiment with the cultivation of mindfulness. Deborah Berke talks about her architecture. Deborah Berke is the founder and principal in Deborah Berke and Partners, in New York. She is a professor of architectural design at Yale University and founding trustee of the Design Trust for Public Space.
